People refer to it as ‘San Francisco’s oldest neighborhood’ – but I just call it the best place in the Bay. The Mission’s Latin influence keeps things colorful and locals cook up the best Mexican Food I’ve ever had.

I’m not really a shopper, more into dark bars, cheap drinks and lazy afternoons in Dolores Park. But a few used record & book shops make their way in to my list. As the yuppies and tech moguls take over many parts of San Francisco, I still feel some punk vibes here. And it’s pretty easy to find a live show most nights of the week.
