The Montréal Botanical Garden is a must-visit destination, offering a delightful experience for all ages. One of the highlights for kids is the hands-on activity of making pizza using wood chips. It’s a unique and fun way for children to learn about food and engage in a creative culinary adventure.

The garden also boasts a remarkable collection of herbs, showcasing their aromatic scents and medicinal properties. It’s a wonderful opportunity for both children and adults to explore the world of herbs and discover their diverse uses.

Another enchanting feature of the Montréal Botanical Garden is its vast array of rose flowers. With their vibrant colors and captivating fragrances, the garden showcases a stunning variety of rose species. It’s a feast for the senses and a perfect place for flower enthusiasts to indulge in the beauty of nature

Well start with the cons. Entrance is fairly expensive (I paid $40 for two adults). Pumpkin prices are absurd ($10 for one large pumpkin). No staff present walking around the park to make sure rules are followed (lots of kids running rampant climbing cars and throwing pumpkins).

Now on the other hand, there were some things we enjoyed the will bring us back next year.

They have a corn maze open at no additional charge. Paths are wide enough for 3-4 adults walking side by side. Wide variety of photo ops throughout the park, including pumpkin buildings and some old cars (Dodge truck, VW van and Beetle, a tractor).

This is a nice and fun farm!

We live in RDP and it’s only 10 minutes drive from us. Going there is not traffic at all. They have a lot of activities for kids: slide, bubbles station, bike race, big sand box came with shovel, buckets etc. There’s a stuck of hays that my kids loved to climb! Tractor ride was amazing too. It will bring you to the corn maze! They have small portion where you can feed the animals. Never felt crowded at all.

You can pack/bring food and you can spend the whole day without the kids being bored. There are a lot of picnic tables scattered everywhere. Portable toilet we’re available outside. All staff were friendly too.

Highly recommended.

Lots of space for picnic or just hanging out with family. There’s numerous trails, tables and benches. Also, a small playground for the kids. The large pond is beautiful and has very large goldfish and ducks! There’s also a cool small waterfall feature Beautiful place!

It gets dark after subset as this park has absolutely no street/path lights or lamps so you better walk with your flashlights. But overall the place is beautiful for kids and family. It has a perfect sunset view too. Superb park with a nice pond and scenery… the young lady at the visitor center is particularly friendly and helpful.

A great place to visit with kids in Montreal. There are some other attractions in this area, but the Biosphere itself good for 1-2 hours visit only. The entrance ticket is separate for every attractions and they are a little expensive. The car parking vary from CAN $ 10-20. If you buy day pass for $20, you can use it at other attractions parking lot too that’s the good part. But keep your budget in mind before you visit.

Good place especially for  kids are already in school, give them more knowledge about environment. For kids in the young age is not much interesting. On the 5th floor has nice lounge to sit relax for the view.

In summer until fall you can walk around in the 4th floor outside balcony. Unfortunately it close for winter due too much snow and it can be slippery.

Over all we like it.

Such a fun time with the family visiting this lovely attraction. Going on the giant wheel offered amazing views and a one of a kind experience that I am very glad we got while visiting Montreal. The weather was perfect in late June and the scenery was gorgeous.

Loved this place. Best place for pictures and nonetheless for amusement. My family and I loved it so much that we kept snapping pictures for a long time at all angles. Loved the view of the bridge and river. Nice place to see people doing the zip line adventures too

This farm will make happy a small and a big person…, the adults can pick the sweet and giant strawberries( absolutely delicious)and the children can visit the little farm , play on the ground ,also the farm has 3 patios to rest and multiple picnic tables to rest and if you forget your lunch they have donuts ice cream fruits and veggies and pies , the farm is super well organized and i like the fact that you pay  directly on the field and if in case you want more strawberries  just walk to the station and choose another box , all methods of payment are accepted. The staff were all super nice..I absolutely love it and i know we are going back soon .i strongly recommend this farm ❤️❤️❤️🍓

It was amazing! Not too expensive, with lots of options for kids, the maze was awesome, we had so much fun in it, there is a lot of bathroom also and they are very clean even though they are outside! Only upside to this place!

But, dogs aren’t allowed there.

Excellent place for kids and family. I don’t have any expectation at the beginning, but it surprise me because it’s quite challenging if you fear of height, but they have 3 different level. Easily spend 2-3 hours here.

Brought our 4 kids, aged 11 to 20. They all loved it. It’s not easy to find activities to please the various ages, but this one was a great success. My son (18) actually felt like he was on survivor 😉

The kids absolutely loved this place and finding their way to the four treasures. The maze is tricky and posed a real challenge! Staff very helpful. A great way to spend a wet morning.

Came with 2 kids, and we’ve had a great time while doing our 7000 steps!  We gave each other great navigation and collaboration badges LOL, and liked the experience.  I give it 4 stars because of quality of  the food/drink. When you come out, you are tired, and want to relax and eat/drink on their lovely veranda, but all the food there is just junk food (and sugary artificial colored drinks) which is a shame when so many kids could have enjoyed something healthy.  For example, in Planetarium, the food was great. The moral is, be prepared, bring your own.  Staff was friendly, they spoke English, and gave us a hint when we exhausted our options. Overall, worth visiting!

Awesome place to take children of all ages. Easily able to spend at least a half day – all day exploring the exhibits. The Fabriks section is a fun and exciting way to get the kids into experimenting to accomplish a goal. The guides do a great job of trying to frame celebrating the process, not necessarily the result. They recommend 8+ years old but we still had lots of fun with our 5 year old.

Has something for all ages! The Mini Mondo was incredible! My 2 and 3 year old were in heaven! I thought it was going to only be for older kids and it really wasn’t. Very clean, well maintained space. It’s a must if you’re in Montreal with little kids. We spent 4 hours there and had to drag the kids out.

La Ronde

Theme park

Great park to enjoy with family and friends. Overall lots of options but mostly either for rollercoaster and crazy rides or more kiddie rides. Loved the Ferris wheel and some of the roller coasters. Expect lines. We had to wait for about one to two hours for the roller coasters which took up a chunk of our day. Recommend coming here though especially during the week.

It is as beautiful as it was mentioned by the people. Not only kids but the youngsters, youths, adults and even the elderly people can also enjoy various activities and events here. It’s only the place where the fireworks 💥 in Montreal takes place during various occasions like new year, different national festivals organized by peoples from all over the world.

An ideal destination catering to families, kids, and nature enthusiasts alike. This location offers an encompassing experience of four distinct geographical regions, providing insight into their unique ecosystems. Montreal Insectarium

We had a delightful time at the Insectarium, especially with for the little one. Stepping inside felt like entering a whole new world from the perspective of an ant. The kid absolutely loved it and gained a lot of knowledge from the experience. The only downside was that the journey was a bit on the shorter side, as we managed to complete the visit in around 45 minutes. Nonetheless, the place is stunning, and the sight of butterflies fluttering around added to its beauty.

Honestly an amazing museum to visit. It’s been renovated and is very well done. Just wish there were more exhibits with live insects. It gets very crowded in there and is unbearable when kids are shoving.

The butterfly room is amazing. Worth the visit just for this. There’s so many flying around, and many other bugs hiding in the trees and the bushes of you look close enough.
